Frustrated over wife’s leaving home along with children a 45-year-old businessman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his Sabzi Mandi house residence under Gandhi Nagar police station area on Thursday.
According to the police, Gabbar alias Heera Motwani was found hanging in his room and was rushed to nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team reached and after the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. In the initial investigation it was found that the deceased used to operate a truck and was also involved in other businesses.
He used to fight with his wife frequently over petty issues and few days ago she left house along with her children and went to her parents house. The deceased was not able to persuade her to return and committed suicide.
Police have not found any suicide note which could reveal the reason and would reveal the reason in the further investigation. Meanwhile a 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Vallabh Nagar under Jehangirabad police station area on Monday.
