BHEL Bhopal received order for manufacturing and supply of 12 numbers 200 mva, 220 kv, 3 Phase Auto Transformers from UPPTCL, Lucknow, UP in August 2018.
These 12 number Transformers were to be manufactured in a very short time of 8 Months. BHEL accepted this challenge and are manufacturing all the 12 number Transformers in a record time of 8 Months i.e, by March 2019.
In this series the ‘1st Set of 200 mva, 220 kv, UPPTCL, 3 Phase Auto Transformer’ was flagged off by ED Bhopal DK Thakur on Wednesday.
On this occasion GM (TCB)- Vinay Nigam, GM (MM&LGX)- Vipin Minocha, GM (LGX)- GK Srinivasa, AGM(TRM&TXX)- Avinash Chandra, AGM(TTX)- GP Baghel and other senior officials of TRM Department were also present.
Due to timely manufacturing and good performance of BHEL Bhopal, UPPTCL, Lucknow, UP has ordered 8 numbers more 200 mva, 220 kv, 3 Phase Auto Transformers. These will be delivered in Financial Year 2019-20.
Meanwhile, BHEL, Bhopal has been awarded with the ‘Large Enterprise of the Year-PSU Sector Award 2017-18’ in a programme held at Bhopal under Federations of MP Chambers of Commerce and Industries.
