The ‘BHEl Day’ observed every year on the first day of January was observed here on Thursday at BHEl, Bhopal with great zeal and honour.
On this occasion Shashi Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director BHEl, Bhopal hoisting the BHEl flag administered the BHEl oath to all the employees. All General Managers, Trade union representatives and employees in large number were present in the programme. Addressing the gathering Prasad said that the objective of observing the day is to revisit the past laurels of the company as well as reinforce and rededicate self for the future growth of the company.
At present BHEl is reeling under pressure from low order book position and competitive market conditions; the need now is to focus our concern on producing quality product. He further urged the gathering to work with full commitment for completing the slated target of the last quarter. Referring to the CMD’s New Year message Prasad said that the employees of BHEl are known in the industrial world for their commitment, dedication and honesty.
“We all should work together to bring down expenditures, make efficient use of raw materials and the future ahead is of BHEl,” added Prasad. On this occasion a mini telephone directory designed by Communication Department was also released. later, he went through each manufacturing block of the plant and meeting the employees personally greeted them with best wishes for the New Year.
