Heat Exchanger Group of BHEL Bhopal has successfully manufactured, tested dispatched, last 4th High Pressure Heater for 4000 MW Coastal Gujarat Power Limited Ultra Mega Power Plant of M/s Tata Power Ltd.
In a gathering of high level official, flag-off of this Heater was done on Friday by recently joined ED, Bhopal C Ananda. Senior level officials present on this occasion were ML Taurani GM (Thermal), Vipin Minocha GM (MM & CDC), PK Mishra, GM (Hydro, HR& FBM),
Other official were M Rashid AGM (Quality) SS Madavi Sr DGM (HCM), Jitendra Singh Deputy Mgr (QHC) Jitendra Raikwar Sr DGM (FBM). All HODs & employees of Thermal Group, Quality, Fabrication group, Logistics etc. were present on the occasion.
Representatives of the customer M/s CGPL were also present. HP Heater of this rating has been manufactured for the first time in BHEL, meeting stringent quality requirements of the customer. Three heaters were already dispatched successfully. BHEL is confident of receiving more orders of HP Heaters in this rating for other units of this project & from other customers.
Earlier too, this group has successfully developed, manufactured & supplied Duplex LP Heaters for 800 MW Super Critical power plants. Till date all the 800 MW power stations supplied by BHEL are having Duplex Heaters manufactured by BHEL-Bhopal.
