The Special Task Force (STF) of Madhya Pradesh Police investigating the BDS examination scam in the Barkatullah University has decided to grill 29 invigilators who were deputed during the examination.
The BU authorities have provided a list of these invigilators to the STF. Police sources said that after questioning these invigilators, the picture regarding the scam would be clear.
Earlier, the STF has demanded names and contact details of the invigilators and in case any invigilator is found suspicious a search
will be launched to find the invigilator.
Gross irregularities surfaced during the BDS examination scam and it was found that the department of continuing education was made the examination centre nwhich created demand of invigilators.
Also with the demand of invigilators, a difficult process of selection emerged. The friends and acquaintances of department faculties were roped in to deliver the duty which resulted in the appointment of 29 invigilators in hay way.
One of the invigilators told that he was not aware about the BDS examination scam and was pursuing his assignment for the remuneration fixed against the invigilation.
The STF has intensified a search for the two accused Upendra and Tahir Khan as their arrest would reveal many vital links and information in the case.
The writing expert JS Rathod has started investigating the writing samples from the answer copies but he is still waiting for the other documents collected of the students.
