Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) would organize lottery for the selection of the number of the flats at Samanvay Bhawan, new market Bhopal on Tuesday. The lottery of 1 BHK or EWS flat would be conducted on Tuesday by 10 am, while the lottery of the 2 BHK or lIG flat would be conducted on Wednesday by 10 in the morning.
Notably, to benefit the weaker sections of the society, Bhopal Development Authority (BDA) has constructed 1080 lIG flats and 896 EWS flats under Barai Phase 1 scheme in which Two BHK flat costs `10 lakh while one BHK flat costs `5 lakh.There are around 18 blocks of 2 BHK or lIG flats while every block has around 60 lIGs. The parking facility is situated on the ground floor of every block as well as two lifts have been constructed in every block. There are six floors in a block including the ground floor while every floor has 10 flats. The area of a lIG is 550 square feet.
There are around 28 blocks of the EWS or 1 BHK flat, every block has 32 EWS flats and four floors on each of the blocks. Every floor has around 8 flats while 32 EWS flats have been constructed in a single block. The area of each of the EWS flat is around 350 square feet. These flats have been distributed to the people after the registration of the flats.Notably, around 1080 lIG and 896 EWS flats have been constructed by the BDA near 60 metre wide road of the master plan. As many as 1911 people have completed their registration for the flats.
