Babulal calls for stringent actions to nix crime rate

SR

Police officials should take prompt action in checking the crime rate and nabbing criminals, said Home Minister Babulal Gaur on Saturday.

Criminals should be afraid of the police and should refrain from indulging into any criminal activity but it is possible only if the police personnel on the field and senior officers patrol their respective areas constantly, told Home Minister Gaur.

He added that the single criteria for evaluation of the officials would be their work and the officials should understand this as their mere presence would not work and they have to deliver results.

The senior officials should constantly patrol their area and to encourage participation from the citizens Mohalla committees should be made active and engage them in active participation which could help in decreasing crime rates. A beat in charge should be deployed and assigned with responsibilities.

Good Shepherd Co-operative society members handed over a memorandum to Home Minister Gaur regarding increased number of burglaries in their area and requested to take action which could curb the increasing rate of burglaries.

Additional Superintendent of Police Dilip Singh Tomar and Station House Officer of Kolar police station Akhilesh Mishra were instructed by the Home Minister Gaur to work alertly for controlling the crime in their area.

SHO Mishra told that FIRs have been registered regarding the burglaries which were reported in the Good Shepherd Co-operative society last month and the investigation is under process. Home Minister Gaur instructed police officers to deal with strictness in all the crime cases.
