While in a candid talk with the media persons on Friday, Anjum Fakih who plays Rachita Mathur says, “With the Mathurs moving to Banaras, everyday has been a challenge for us. Rachita being the eldest sister has to strike a balance between the conflicting points of view of Amaya (Hiba Nawab) and my mother (Gautami Kapoor). The upcoming episodes will see how the Mathurs cope up with all the problems.”

Moreover, Gautami Kapoor who plays Sneha Mathur and the mother of four young girls says, “It is really a challenge to move to new city leaving behind your past. It is not only challenging but also full of enjoyment.” Tere Sheher Mein is the story of the rich and affluent Mathurs, Rishi, Sneha and their three daughters Rachita, Amaya and Jasmine.

A part of a close knit family, Amaya shares a special bond with her father, Rishi Mathur, who calls him her ‘Superman’. She doesn’t have to struggle for anything that she ever wants and that is a point of concern for her mother, Sneha Mathur. Amaya comes face to face with an unexpected challenge and her life takes a 360 degree turn. She is forced to move from a comfortable life in Mumbai to Banaras and thus begins her journey of her coming of age from a pampered girl to becoming the support system for her family.
