The art lovers have a new venue to watch their favourite performances. In view of the worldwide crisis of Coronavirus, a creative initiative is taken by the Culture Department Madhya Pradesh Government by connecting the artists of the country and State, which has received an encouraging response.
The writers, poets and artists invited by the Department of Culture from time to time in its events, were requested to send thier creative act for the society on their behalf in this hour of crisis, which they circulated to all through their social media. In response, writers and artists from across the country recorded their acts in video and are sending it to department of culture.
All the acts are being uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Department of Culture. The initiative has started keeping in view the ongoing lockdown. A series of events will be presented everyday. The initiative began from Wednesday. On the first day, a Jatak Tale was presented.
Swarn Hans, directed by Preeti Jha Tiwari and was presented by the artists of Rising Society of Art and Culture (RiSAC), Bhopal. Besides, other performances including Folk dance and music of Madhya Pradesh are also being performed. The initiatuve is being taken to give a platform to all the artists to showcase their talent and acts before the art lovers of the city.
