Half a dozen armed miscreants barged into the house of ward no. 1 of Ambha on Tuesday night and looted ornaments and cash by injuring a woman sleeping inside.
Police said the incident took place at the house of one Mukesh Tomar of lenwaligali, when his wife Seema Tomar was all alone in the house. SDOP Ambaha Kishor Singh Bhadauria said at midnight unknown half a dozen miscreants entered the house crossing the wall and reached the room where Seema was sleeping. Miscreants attacked her with sticks and then collected ornaments and cash.
The miscreants took away ornaments and cash worth `50,000. In the morning the neighbourers informed the police.The police reached the spot immediately and inspected the spot. After that they sent the woman to the hospital. The police registered a case of theft against unknown miscreants after the statement of the woman.
