The artists from Senua village in longding District of Arunachal Pradesh have arrived in Indira Gandhi Rashtiya Manav Sangrahalaya Bhopal in first week of February 2016 for construction of Wancho Ham dwelling House.
Sangrahalaya welcomed them and presented a bouquet to Nokkai Wangsaham, leader of artists in the reception gate. Fort he past two days, they were busy in preparation or converting the raw materials into finished product.
After completion of converting materials and ready, they have selected the plot through Nantak divination in their traditional way.
They brought all raw materials including Thongnu Panglang wooden posts, loh chak toko leaves, and different types of Ngat,zo,kai, Vahsing, bamboos and lung ze ropes from their native village Senua.
They also brought all cultural objects including Kham, log drum Tham, Pounding log longhuakkho, Rice roasting plate, bed Tantonglia and many more. The Wancho ham will construct with natural resources directly brought from jungles. Thirty five artists comprises of its leader Nokkai Wangsaham, three other guides Pangdun Wangsu, Wangppoh Wangsaham and Panjam Wangsu.
The main artists are Thangwang Wangham, Hiathak Wangsapa, Janpho Wangnaw, Manthak Wangsu, Maankai Wangsupa, Pulai Boham, Khokai Wangsu, langpho lukham,Ponglai Boham, Maanshom Pheham, Shompha Poiham, Manjai Wangsu, Wangjen Wangsaham, Danpha Boham,Nokzang Wangsu, Bolam lukham, Bolam Wangpan, Ponglam Boham, Sunkha Wangnaw,Wangdan Wangsu, Manlong Wangsu, Zongpan Munham, Achin Wangsu, Noknga Wangsu, Tailai ChokahWangsu, lochoi loham, Tahdaw Wangsu, Jakham loham, Pachoi Pheham, Tahlem and Taipho Poiham.
The selection of plot through Nantak divination was performed by Shompha Poiham on the request of Wangjen Wangsaham to settle his younger brother Nokkai Wangsaham.
Elder brother Wangjen Wangsaham brought a soil from where he wanted to construct a house for Nokkai Wangsaham to Nantakpa divine performer Shompha Poiham in the witness of Khokai, Manthak, Janpho, Hiathak and langpho.
