In the Ankur inter-league played between JP Yadav XI and Manish Agnihotri XI, the JP Yadav team won the match. On the second day of the match, the JP Yadav XI started the game from opening day’s score of 504 runs at the loss of eight wickets.
The opening day’s not-out batsman Rajveer Vaidya completed his half century and JP Yadav scored 60 runs and the total score reached 535 runs. From JP Yadav’s team Ashish Markam scored 166 runs, Tohid Hassan scored 119 runs and Krish Yagnik contributed 112 runs to the team.
On behalf of the Manish Agnihotri XI, Abishek Yadav in 32 overs bowled one maiden, giving 183 runs and took 5 wickets, Yashraj Chouhan in 20 overs’ spell had one maiden over with 130 runs and getting three wickets and Awiral Singh in 20 overs succeeded in two maiden overs, giving 100 runs and two wickets.
To gain the lead in the first innings the target set for Manish Agnihotri XI was 536 runs by the JP Yadav XI. The Manish Agnihotri XI team could not handle the pressure and went all out scoring 274 runs. From the team Prakhar Dhyani scored 73 runs, Yashraj Singh scored 48 runs, Sourabh Jain scored 33 runs and Saharsh Bhave scored 25 runs.
The JP Yadav team in the first innings gained a lead of 261 runs and with this lead the team won the match. From the team Krish Yagnik in three overs gave 15 runs and scored three wickets, Rajveer Vaidya in 25 overs had one maiden over, gave 38 runs and took two wickets and Aditya Pratap Singh Tomar in four overs bowled two maiden overs, gave 12 runs and picked two wickets.
Tohid Hasan from JP Yadav’s team was awarded ‘Man of the Match’ as he scored 119 runs in 50 balls.
