Bollywood actress Amrita Rao visited Bhopal on Saturday to promote her debut TV Show ‘Meri Awaz Hi Pehchan Hai.’ She is playing the role of Kalyani Gaekwad who is a singing sensation in the show.
A powerful drama brings forth the journey of strong-willed women of the Gaekwad family. The story spans across three generations and traces the journey of the two sisters from the beautiful town of Nagthane to Mumbai - the city of dreams.
While talking to the media persons Amrita said, “This show is very close to my heart. It's my debut on television and the audience response has been amazing. Currently in the show we are at a stage where Kalyani is trying to comprehend the nuance of the industry and getting the recognition she deserves. However, on a personal front she is moving further away from her own sister due to clash of ideologies and perspectives. I only hope for continued support from the audience like the way it has always been.”
