Staff Reporter

Unfazed by the poor performance in the Bihar assembly polls, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) continues exploring its chances in other States and in the process it has knocked the door of Madhya Pradesh.

AIMIM president and MP Asaduddin Owaisi has made first official organisational appointment in the State in Bhopal. Mufti Amir Jamal has been authorised by the AIMIM to carry out the membership drive in Bhopal town only as per the authorisation letter issued by the party to him.

Mufti Jamal while talking to media persons here on Sunday said, “Our motto is not politics, we are here to serve the people. AIMIM politics till now is clear, our leadership does not have a single allegation of corruption over it. Our politics is to help the needy people and their development issues. People have given too much of regard till now because of our policies that are to offer care to all classes of society, employment for youth and peaceful atmosphere in the country.”

Jamal further said that in order to spread the ideology of the party we would reach out to all likeminded people who also believe in peace and who have the spirit to fight for the cause of the people. We wish to move ahead with such people who have the desire to do something for the people, he added.

He said that eventhough the charge of Bhopal city has been shouldered on me the fact is that this responsibility has been shouldered on all the people of city who wish to bring change and stand for justice of all.

“We have not come to people for any political benefits but we are here with the aim of prosperity of people, peace, employment and development for all. We wish to work for getting justice for all,” he added.
