Adarsh Gaushala is role model

PNS

Worship of gaumata is a matter of faith and pride for Indians. Products derived from cow progenies are proved to be life-saving and the Adarsh Gaushala in Gwalior has done a remarkable job in the field of cow protection. These views were expressed by Kamal Taori, retired IAS officer and past advisor to the Planning Commission of India during his visit to the Adarsh Gaushala situated at the Laltipara area of the city.

Speaking on the occasion, Taori applauded the mission undertaken by the saints and said that this will be a model gaushala. He spoke about the  tremendous therapeutic values of cow derived products like cow milk, cow milk curd, cow butter , cow urine and cow dung and said that efforts will be made to globalize these aspects. Dr Taori also said that the use of these products has been well defined in ancient Ayurvedic texts like Charak Samhita, Shushruta samhita, Brahad-Wagbhatt etc.

Kishore Kanyal, Gwalior Municipal Commissioner while administrating the oath of hygiene to those present emphasized on the need for hygiene. Those present included Sant Swamy Devanand, director of the  Adarsh Gaushala; Swamy Premanant; Chairman of the Seed Corporation, Munnalal Goyal and K P Singh Bahdouria among others.
