The Rising Society of Art and Culture (RISAC) Bhopal and Bhoomika Theatre Group, Bhopal has organised an acting workshop to hone the skills of youngsters.
Moreover, the workshop that began from Wednesday is being conducted at Kalibadi, TT Nagar.
Notably, the participants are being basic acting exercises to strengthen their acting foundation. This training programme would further train them to be free from self consciousness and strengthen their concentration through sensory exercises. The participants are given assignments to apply in their theatrical personality and performances.
Further, these days youngsters are getting influenced by the theatrical activities and to make a career in acting, they have to learn the basics of acting which are being taught in this workshop.
The other training facets taught by noted theatre personalities of the city were on how to use the props and properties, speech therapy, improvisation of stories, body movements, facial expression with dialogue, and footwork on music along with other experimental exercises.
The workshop majorly focuses on acting techniques, body language, observational skills, voice modulation, diction and speech. This will provide a unique knowledge practice based techniques, which is very important for this career. All kinds of genres like tragedy, comedy, drama and horror would be taught in this workshop.
