Gwalior Collector Sanjay Goyal has instructed to take action against the arms license holders involved in suspicious activities, encroachment on land, roaming suspiciously along with his arms. Use of arms in illegal mining, transportation and using it during the occasion of marriage it is strictly prohibited.
Besides, creating panic amongst the people through their licensed arms, threatening or pressurize for to conduct the illegal work etc, cones under the category of crime. This will lead to great action against the license armed holders.
Gwalior Collector Goyal has instructed that under the Gwalior region sub divisional penalty officers and appointed them as Nodal officers. He has ordered to all the sub-divisional Penalty officers to collect the information about the license holders through the Patwari and Tehsildars on priority basis, so that we can move forward to take action against the culprits after the probe. Gwalior Collector Sanjay Goyal informed that it has been observed and with the resources information is coming that during public hearing license holder persons are misusing the arms and if they shift their residence and the numbers of bullets should be informed to the concern department but they are not doing this.
There are also instances that the license holder person is using the weapon even after the license has expired. The licenses should be associated with an affidavit and linked with the aadhar number also. With help of weapons, license holders pressurize the government officers in different way and try to encroach upon the government properties and private properties.
