AAP will displace BJP: Ashutosh

Staff Reporter

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is ready to contest elections in every State and it will emerge as an alternative to the ruling BJP in Madhya Pradesh in 2018.

AAP leader Ashutosh, who was here to address a party workers’ convention, told media persons, “We will fight it out in Madhya Pradesh with all our might in 2018 and try to provide a new direction to the State.”

The AAP leader spoke after a meeting of party activists. He said the AAP was strengthening its organisation in every State to put up a fight not just in Madhya Pradesh but everywhere in the country. Ashutosh said there had been plenty of corruption and scandals in Madhya Pradesh during the past 15 years of Bharatiya Janata Party rule.

“This is why people are looking for an alternative," he said. On being asked who will be the AAP leader in Madhya Pradesh, Ashutosh said that this will be decided by the people. “We will offer a real and honest alternative, this is our promise,” he added.

Ashutosh said that the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) scam was a disgraceful episode of corruption which resulted into several deaths in Madhya Pradesh and the AAP party workers should work hard to uproot the BJP from the State.

It is a good opportunity for the AAP party as Congress is past and people are frustrated from the corruption and mal administration of BJP.  State Party Organiser Alok Agrawal said that the party workers should work to strengthen the organisation at the booth level and should provide details of the work done by AAP Government in Delhi.
