The crowded streets, the hustle-bustle of market and the lively atmosphere of the busy markets can be closely seen through the artist’s eyes in a painting exhibition.
A solo painting exhibition by a renowned city based artist Keshav Sriram Raut is being put up at Rangdarshini Art Gallery, Bharat Bhavan. The exhibition began here from Wednesday and is evoking a good response since its opening day. The exhibition will be on view till Sunday at the art gallery.
The drawings, sketches and paintings by Raut are astonishing and extremely eye pleasing. The present works of artist can be defined of daring innovation driven by his yarning to express visible forms beautifully. He tried to paint the origin of nature, his feelings which he observes in surrounding.
The struggle of life is also showcased over canvas by using mix media including acrylic colour, acrylic sheets, paper and other. Importantly, he also used his imagery creating animal love in his drawings. The highly versatile and aesthetic perception of the creations of the artist has enabled the viewers to touch most profound depths of the concept Raut has worked upon. The purity of style, uniqueness of imagination with brilliant technique made the creations enchanting.
He used dry thick base of colour as a natural metaphor for frozen time and provides fluidity through his use of lines and figures. The crowd visited to watch the creations were spell-bounded with her attractive art work. They were able to reveal various moods that were just created by the figures.
