For thousands of students aspiring to achieve excellence in the All India PG Medical Entrance (AIPGME) exam, Delhi Academy of Medical Sciences (DAMS) organised a country-wide satellite-based seminar on “How to crack AIPGME” in its Hamidia Road Centre situated in Bhopal. Dr Sumer Sethi, MD and previous topper in AIPGM/AIIMS shared specific knowledge to strengthen and infuse students with determination to crack the exam. The discussion primarily started with exploring the potential of the students with special sessions on mental training required to develop the so called “killer instinct”.
The session was attended by hundreds of students preparing for PG medical entrance examinations at various centers. Dr Sethi said that the students who wanted to crack the exam should know the importance of setting goal - pre-planning and execution. He dished out important aspects about the Entrance exam including the general tips to crack the exam, selection process, paper pattern, Marking Scheme and Subjects to be focused. Dr Sethi said students should prepare a note of those points that are very important and likely to be forgotten. Students were very much excited when Sethi informed every one through the twist and turns of changes in the exam pattern, effective time-management, Revision Tactics, and how to approach study material and performance tracking.
