A 60-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Khajoori Khurd village under Bilkharia police station area on Monday.
According to the police, the victim Mor Singh was found hanging at his roadside hotel on Tuesday. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. In the initial investigation the reason of the suicide was not found.
The body was found under suspicious circumstances. The hotel owned by the victim did not have good sales and the hotel was closed for the past 2-3 months which could be considered as the reason behind his suicide but nothing could be ascertained, said the police.
The victim has rented the hotel but the sales were not as expected due to which the he incurred loss. Police were informed and after preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. Meanwhile, a 22-year-old youth committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Ratua village under Gunga police station area on Tuesday. According to the police Nilesh Mali was found in an unconscious state at his residence. Victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died later during treatment.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The reason of the suicide was not clear and the police have confirmed that the further details could be revealed after receiving the post mortem report.
