Jehangirabad police have booked a miscreant for sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl who lives at her aunt's house and was targeted by her neighbour when she was alone.
On November 25, the victim was alone at home when a youth living in the neighborhood came home and raped her and when the victim complained to the accused's wife, she also instructed him to remain silent.
After this, the accused often started raping after coming home whenever he got a chance. Fed up with this act, the victim lodged a case against the accused. Police are looking for the accused by registering the case.
SI Yogita Jain told that a 16-year-old girl from Mandla lives at her aunt's house near Jinsi. She studies at her aunt's house. The girl's mother has passed away and the father does not live with her, due to which the girl stays with her aunt. The girl was alone on November 25, 2022.
During this, Sambhu Singh, who was living in the neighboring house, entered the house at around 1 pm and raped the girl.
The victim complained to the accused's wife Nishu on which she instructed the victim to keep quiet. The victim did not tell anyone because of fear. After this, Sambhu Singh would often come home after getting a chance and rape the victim.
Fed up with the misdeeds of the accused Sambhu, the victim told the whole incident to her aunt. After this, she went to the police station with aunt and registered a case. Police are investigating the matter by registering an FIR.
