A 52-year-man died on Friday after his motorbike was hit by a speeding vehicle near Sports Hostel under Habibganj police station area on May 26; police have started investigation.
The deceased GS Katiyar was on his bike and when he reached near Sports hostel his bike was hit by speeding vehicle and after accident he return home and later when he reported illness he was taken to hospital and died during treatment.
Police said that the deceased was an employee of PWD and met accident when he was returning from work. The police were informed and on the receipt a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The body was sent for the post mortem.After the preliminary investigation police have registered a caseunder section 304 A of the IPC and started further investigation.Meanwhile, Shahpura police have booked miscreants who attacked a 33-year-old man with sharp-edged weapons at Ishwar Nagar over petty issue on Friday. According to the police, the victim, Rahul Mishra was attacked by miscreant Shishupal Yadav and Brijendra Yadav with a sharp-edged weapon. The injured victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was reportedly stable.
In the initial investigation, it was found that the two accusedattacked the victim over petty issue at Ishwar Nagar and injured him in his face when the victim tried to save himself, the victim also sustained injuries in his hand.
The victim lodged a complaint with Shahpura police and based on the complaint and after the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case against the two and have started further investigation. The accused are yet to be arrested.
