A 50-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from a tree in Rongia village under Berasia police station area on Thursday.
Police said that the deceased Munnilal Prajapati committed suicide. The deceased used to work as potter and labour at farms. In the initial investigation the family members told police that deceased was depressed due to financial problem.
On Thursday, the deceased was doing pottery in the early morning hours and later he stopped work and left the house. After the deceased failed to return till late in the night family members started search for him and found hanging from a tree.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
During the investigation elder son of deceased Raju told the police that his wife has miscarriage in which the family had to bear big medical expenses and later their crops were damaged due to harsh weather. The deceased was depressed over the financial loss and probably this is the reason behind his committing suicide.
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man got electrocuted at Islam Nagar under Eitkhedi police station area on Thursday; man was working at his house when he electrocuted. The deceased Ramesh Pal got electrocuted while he was working at his house and when he was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead. After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation. The reason would be investigated and the statements of the family members would be recorded.
