PNS

The police have on Thursday seized 50 boxes of fancy drill (misused as drugs) that were brought to the city without bill. The boxes were caught around midnight. Police are looking for one Gopal who is suspected to be involved. Police have registered a case and have handed over the case to the drug inspector for further action.

According to sources, the Kotwali police found 50 boxes of the drug in a truck parked near a medical store at Huzrat Kotwali. When police enquired about from those present, one man in the truck ran away.

When they asked the driver for documents he could not produce any. On further enquiries the police came to know that the drugs were brought for Gopal. It is also learnt that this man’s consignment was previously caught by the Bahadpur police. Consignments of this person have been caught in Indore and Bhopal too.

The matter was brought to the higher officers. City ASP Dinesh Koushal confirmed the report and said that further enquires are on and a search party has been formed to nab the main culprit, Gopal.
