A total of 48 applications in the electronic sector have been sanctioned for the prestigious Madhav Rao Vyapar Mela which will be inaugurated next week. Work has been started in most of the showrooms.
The automobile sector will be participating in the fair after a gap of eight years. Four leaders from the automobile sector have agreed to display their vehicles this year. In addition to this four prominent cell phone companies too will be exhibiting their products during this year’s fair.
This information was given by the Divisional Commissioner and Chairman of the Fair Authority KK Khare during a press conference here on Friday. He said that this years the public can enjoy tasty cuisines from the Moti Mahal hotel, Connaught Place, Delhi. Apart from this the renowned circus company Raj Kamal Circus too will take part this year. He said these attractions will certainly draw more people to the fair.
The participants in the electronic sector are Baja Home Appliances, Usha, Umang House, Gem Refrigerators, Symphony Coolers, Cookers Sales Corp[oration, GR Enterprises, Sujatha, Golden life Appliances, Modular Kitchen, Ritu Electronics, Rejul Coolers, Vishal Window Coolers, Upadhya Enterprises, Suresh Bandhu, Bhaseen lights, Om Sai Ram, Swami Sales, N R Packers, Kent RO, Kelvinator RO, Padmini Home, Ultra Face Kitchen Appliances, Zen Air Conditioners, Raju Sons ( Ultra Modular Kitchen & Eureka Forbes water purifiers), Anushka Enterprises, E lotus, Electro Mug Engineering, Brand Concepts, Surabhi Agro Enterprises, Diamond Home Appliances and Cooler, SMD Electronics, Om Electronics, MP Cellular Company, Bansal Kitchen Appliances, M/s Harish Agarwal , M/s Alok Gupta, M/s Rohini, M/s Sunith Thomar and lED Sole.
The Divisional Commissioner said that all efforts are being taken to provide the best of facilities to the visitors, farmers and industrialist who visit the fair. Free drinking water will be provided to everyone. Charges will be collected only from those showrooms that use water for commercial purpose, like restaurants and small eateries. Sixty temporary urinals are being set up. Visitors can use it without paying any charges. Small vendors too are exempted from paying any taxes or charges. Farmers selling and buying cattle too are exempted from paying any taxes.
Four major mobile companies, viz Samsung, lava, Intex and Reliance will be participating in this year’s fair.
