A 46-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Shirdipuram under Kolar police station area on Friday. The man had died around ten days ago, said police.
After the locals found smell emanating from the house, police were informed and a police team rushed to the spot and made forced entry into the house by breaking window glass pan only to find man dead inside. The deceased was identified as Nitin Dable.
After the preliminary investigation, the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Police said that the deceased died around 10 days ago and body has been sent for post mortem. The deceased was suffering from mental illness and his family members used to live in another house in Kolar.
The deceased used to work with AG Office and used to live with his mother and family of his elder brother. In the month of April and May he got transferred to Gwalior and as his mental condition was not good his mother and family of elder brother shifted in a rented house.
Meanwhile, a 61-year-old man was found dead in Ashoka Garden area on Friday; a sharp edged weapon was found near the spot, said police.
The deceased identified as Ramkishan was found in an injured state and when taken to hospital he was declared dead. Police have started investigation that it was Ramkishan was killed or it was a suicide. He was suffering from mental illness.
