Four probationary police officers belonged to Himachal Pradesh visited the Model police station of the State capital as a part of their training programme.
The probationary officers — Amit Sharma, Kulvinder Singh, Vikas Dheeman and Amit Thakur — were surprised by the management with which the interrogation room, library and gymnasium were maintained.
During their visit they expressed that the rest room for employees was a must for every police station due to the hectic schedule of the police personnel. The other room which impressed upon them was the meeting room which according to them is an important place to discuss the issues and cases.
The atmosphere created at the police station is helpful in addressing the grievances of the complainants and will help in increasing the confidence of common man in police administration. These combined efforts will have a positive impact. The Station House Officer of TT Nagar police station Sudheer Arjaria said the trainee officers were on a visit as a part of training module in which successful model of the department are going to be visited. They were impressed on the facilities provided for the police personnel and the complainants.
Arjaria said the police station had some unique features which are rare to find in police stations across the State and country. A modernise interrogation room, canteen with best quality and cheap food.
