Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital and Bhopal utsav mela samiti jointly orgnised a free eye camp at Dubai Mahila Dharamshala Gandhi Nagar here today. As many as 345 patients came to camp for treatment out of those 121 were identified for cataract surgery. Cataract patients were then brought to SSEH.
Surgeries of cataract patient will be performed on Monday. BDA Chairperson Krishna Mohan Soni and MIC Member Rajesh Hingorani also visited the camp and took an account of successful conducting of the camp. Patients came in camp indude 152 male and 193 female patient. Similarly 57 male and 64 female patients identified for their cataract surgeries.
Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital and Bhopal utsav mela samiti jointly held 15 camp every year in the mansoon season in which poor cataract patients are identified for their surgeries. Besides cataract, B.p., sugar and eye tension is also diagnosed in the camp.
Those patients who were not ailing with cataract, they were provided free eye drops. The office beares of SSEH and Bums Vimal Bhandari, Sunil Jainavin, Vasudev Wadhwani, M.S Kushwaha, Virendra Kumar Jain, Shyam Mangal, Narainsingh Kushwaha, Anupam Agarwal, Ramesh Hingorani and Khubchand Bhagchandani were also present in the camp.
