Berasia police has arrested three persons involved in murder of a 45-year-old man on May 25; accused were arrested from Dholkhedi in Vidisha.
The three accused were identified as Mahendra Yadav alias Tiggi Yadav( 40) Vidisha, Brijesh alias Govind Yadav (32) of Vidisha and Amit Sharma(22) Rajgarh.
Parwat was set ablaze after his son Kapil eloped with the married daughter of the main accused Mahendra Yadav. His daughter married on May 12 and eloped on May 23.
Police have seized two vehicles which were used in the crime.
After the couple eloped on May 23 Mahendra along with two other accused went to Parwat on May 24 and asked to accompany him for searching of their son and daughter and when he refused they took him forcefully and later his charred body was recovered late in night by Vidisha police on May 25.
During the investigation police found that deceased’s son Kapil used to work as driver for Mahendra in Vidisha and where he came into contact with Mahendra’s daughter and when Mahendra came to know about their relationship he fire Kapil and later married his daughter.
The two continued to remain in contact and few days back Mahendra’s daughert return and eloped with Kapil.
Mahendra knew that his daughter has eloped with Kapil and later kidnapped and murdered Kapil’s father.
The eloped couple contacted Sagar GRP and later they were brought to Vidisha. The police registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and started further investigation. The accused remained absconding and on Sunday they were arrested from Vidisha.
