A 28-year-old girl was sexually exploited for the past one years on the promise of marriage by postman posted at Dhar; a case was registered by Piplani police on Friday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually exploited by the accused Vijay Kumar Ingle for the past three years and during the period assured her of marriage and continued to sexually exploit her.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC.
The victim came into contact with the accused last years ago and was lured by the accused of marriage. The two developed relationship on June 4 last year in Dhar when the victim accompanied to his house.
After the two became friends they shared details with their families and they agreed and after which accused proposed to marry her and took her to Dhar where they stayed for one month. The accused continued to meet her at her rented room in Piplani whenever she would visit Bhopal and later the accused refused to marry.
The victim and her family tried to convince him but accused continued on his stand and victim approached police in Dhar and lodged complaint where a zero FIR was registered and later case was transferred to Piplani police.
