A 25-year-old married woman who consumed poisonous substance at VIP Road on Monday died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital on Wednesday.
According to the police the deceased Soniya died while undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital.
On the day of the incident the deceased consumed poisonous substance near Karbala at VIP road after parking her scooter and when she went unconscious she was rushed to Hamidia hospital where she died during treatment.
During the investigation identity of the deceased was not established till Tuesday and later when her identity was established post mortem was conducted and case was registered.
The deceased was a resident of Indra Vihar Colony and married lokendra Sahu two years ago but after 2-3 months the two started to have frequent fights and frustrated later the deceased consumed poisonous substance on Monday.
The couple was undergoing counseling at family counseling center.
Police said that the statements of the family members of the deceased who live in Nishatpura are yet to be recorded.
Meanwhile, Kolar police have booked a 20-year-old youth for abetment of suicide in case of suicide committed by 18-year-old girl by consuming poisonous substance at Om Nagar.
Police said that Dinesh Yadav has been booked for abetment of suicide who used to molest the deceased Rubina Khan.
The deceased committed suicide on February 26, 2017 and during the investigation the police found that Dinesh Yadav was behind the suicide.
The police registered a case under section 306 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
