Ashoka Garden police have nabbed a 25-year-old youth for sexually exploiting a Mumbai-based make-up artist; a case was registered by Ashoka Garden police on Wednesday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the Amir Khan and blackmailed her by using her obscene video. The victim courage and lodged a complaint with the Ashoka Garden police.
The victim lodged a complaint with the police and in her complaint she stated that she had provided `1.5 lakh to the accused after he asked money telling that he was facing some problems. later, the accused again asked for the money but this time victim refused to provide the money. This annoyed Amir, who then used his obscene video clip with her threatening that he would make it public, if she did not give more cash to him.
Police said, the victim became friends with the offender over social networking site and soon he proposed the victim which she accepted and later developed relationship with her. The accused offered the victim to visit the city and when she came she was sexually assaulted.
After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 376, 384, 385, 354 (C) and 506 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Police said that from September 10 till the month of November the victim had visited thrice and during her visits the accused used to sexually assault her and took obscene videos of her.
The accused is a resident of Ashoka Garden area. The police have started search for the accused and claimed that he would be nabbed soon.
