Hod JNAU retires
Jabalpur: Head of Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry of Jawaharlal Nehru Agriculture University got his retirement on B Sachhidanand on Wednesday. He served the department for more than 40 years while remaining on different posts.He was in-charge of the only organic fertilizer center of the university and his work to spread aware on the importance of organic fertilizers among farmers earned him special awards.During his tenure 80 research papers and 11 bulletins were published, more than 30 students and 6 PHD students were provided guidance.
Igrms bids adieu to Admin officer
Bhopal: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya on Thursday bid adieu to Administrative officer BK Chatterji. He is an officer of Indian Railway and joined IGRMS in 2014 on deputation.The programme was coordinated by Office Superintendent Kiranbala Sharma. On the occasion of his relieving ceremony, Prof Sarit K Chaudhuri, Director IGRMS, honoured Chatterji with Shawl, Quince and gift and said, “Although, we are saying goodbye to you today, because we cannot hold the time, it moves in its own way and we have to follow this. We all greet you for the future life.”All colleagues shared their experiences and various instances while working with Chatterji. In the end ceremony, the employees of IGRMS have gifted memento and a gift to him.
