A 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging from the slide at Kamla Park under Shymala Hills police station area on Tuesday.
According to police, he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
He used to work as driver with BMC around 5 years ago as contractual employee and after he lost the job he became a habitual drinker and started to live alone leaving his parents.
Police said that no visible injury marks were witnessed. Police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances near Bawadia railway crossing under Misrod police station area late in the night on Monday.According to the police a man was found dead late in the night on Monday and after the body was spotted police were informed and based on the information a police team rushed to the spot and started the investigation.
The deceased was identified as Balbeer Singh of Shahpura. Police said that it was a accident or it was suicide would be investigated as the statement of the family members are yet to be recorded. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
