Navin upreti to be bank of baroda zonal head
Bhopal: Navin Chandra Upreti will be new Zonal Head of Bank of Baroda, MP & CG Zone. He is the General Manager of the bank. Till now, he was working in bank’s Bihar, Odisha and Jharkhad Zone as Zonal Head. He will replace Nagesh Srivastava, who is recently transferred to Jaipur. Upreti started his banking carrier from Uttarakhand in year 1984. He has worked in Uttarakhand, Mumbai, North-East area. He led as subsidiary head in bank’s subsidiary in New Zealand. Upreti has vast experience of working in bank.
state-level homeopathy seminar organised
Bhopal: State-level homeopathic seminar was organised by New life Educational Society at Regional Science Centre Auditorium on Tuesday. On the occasion, Mumbai-based Dr Shekar Algundagi explained the selection of medicines after a case is accepted in problems like joint pains and depression. He used audio-visual presentation for the explanation. Dr M Zakaria shared his experience on ‘Freedom from bleeding in Haemophilia’ and introduced the dignitaries present at the seminar. and Principal of Shivang Homoeopathic Medical College were also present at the occasion. In the seminar around 225 doctors participated in the seminar.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company limited has been selected for 8th India Power Awards 2015 of Council of Power Utility. The award would be given for 400-KV Satpura Ashta Public Private Partnership UPPP Transmission Project. Company's Managing Director and Director Technical will receive the award on behalf of the company in New Delhi on November 6. It is noteworthy that 400-KV Satpura Ashta Public Private Partnership UPPP Transmission Project is second of its kind project in the country. It is based on Planning Commission model. Before it, a project on this model was implemented in Haryana. The 400-KV Satpura Ashta Public Private Partnership UPPP Transmission Project selected for Remarkable Products Awards 2015 has been implemented to transmit power generated by new units of 250-MW each of Satpura thermal power station, Sarni. This double-circuit 400-KV project measured 240 km. The project was considered as complicated due to passage from high tension lines through forest area, rivers, railway crossings etc. But it was completed in just 16 months. It may be mentioned that while completing this project, its lines passed through 22.8-km-long forest area, three railway crossings, 26 high-tension transmission lines and one river. Specialty of the project is its completion within prescribed time-limit. The project started functioning from April 7 this year. The project was constructed by Messrs Kalpataru under Public Private Partnership UPPP Project.
‘electoral rolls for badwara polls on jan 1’
Bhopal: State Election Commissioner has released programme for preparing photo electoral rolls for Badwara gram panchayat polls in Panna district. The electoral rolls will be prepared by January 1, 2016. Secretary State Election Commission GP Shrivastava has informed that public notification regarding publication of electoral rolls will be issued and process to accept claims and objections will start on November 6. Claims and objections will be accepted till November 12 and disposed of on November 16. Final publication of electoral rolls will be carried on November 20.
