Fee hike will remain unchanged
Bhopal: The fee recently hiked by the St Thomas School would remain unchanged. This was decided by the school management in the presence of nodal school Principal Ranjan Sharma and parents of the students. Regarding complaints by few parents that fee has been hiked by the school management, the District Education Officer had formed a committee headed by nodal school Principal Ranjan Sharma. In a meeting conducted in the school on Friday, in the presence of Ranjan Sharma and aggrieved parents, it was decided that the fee hiked would not be rolled back. The parents agreed to this decision and emphasized on installation of CC TV cameras in classrooms and other facilities to which the school managed consented.
Parakh video-conferencing on August 7
Bhopal: Parakh video-conferencing will be held at Mantralaya at 11 am on August 7. Chief Secretary Anthony DeSa will discuss progress of Kharif sowings with district collectors during video-conferencing. Flood situation, status of sanction and distribution of scholarships, preparation of caste certificates, surprise inspections by officers and integrated scholarship scheme under Samagra will also come up for discussion. The General Administration Department has asked concerning departments to send updated information for video-conferencing till August 4.
