Tirth-Darshan Yojana schedule changes
Bhopal: The schedule for June 30 under Mukhyamantri Tirth-Darshan Yojana has been changed. The train for Rameshwaram will now leave on July 17 instead of June 30, 2014 from Neemuch via Mandsaur and Ratlam. It will return from Rameshwaram on July 22. The Khandwa-Rameshwaram train will now leave on July 20 instead of July 14 and will return on July 25.
Panel on teachers’ selection in schools
Bhopal: The State Government has constituted a committee headed by Principal Secretary Tribal Welfare to prescribe uniformity in general process for teachers’ selection in model residential schools and girls education complexes run by Tribal Welfare Department, residential schools under Scheduled Castes Welfare Department, model schools run by School Education Department and Kasturba Gandhi schools run under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan. The committee will also prepare a proposal for uniformity in admission to classes VI and IX. Members of the committee include Principal Secretary Scheduled Castes Welfare, Principal Secretary labour, Commissioner Scheduled Castes Development, Commissioner Public Instructions and Commissioner Rajya Shiksha Kendra. Commissioner Tribal Development will be convener of the committee, which will submit its suggestions by July 15.
