A 12-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at his Indra Nagar residence under Tila Jamalpura police station area on Friday.
According to the police, at around 1 pm the victim Arbaz Khan was found hanging at his residence and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Police were informed and after preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of CrPc and sent the body for post mortem.
On Friday after his return from the school he committed suicide. The victim was a student of Class VIII.
Parents of the victim died few years ago and the victim used to live with his brother but to ascertain the reason of suicide is not possible at the moment, police said, adding that the statements of family members are yet to recorded. Then, something could be ascertained regarding reason behind his taking this extreme step.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old girl who tried to commit suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Eintkhedi died while undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital on Thursday.
According to the police the victim Babli was in relation with Surendra Ahirwar who was married but the girl wanted to marry. After Ahirwar’s refusal she hanged herself and hearing the information of the suicide Ahirwar consumed poisonous substance and died later while the girl died on Thursday.
The police have started investigation and the body was sent for post mortem. A case under section 174 of the CrPC has been registered.
