A 20-year-old newly married woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence in Sharda Vihar under Ratibad police station area on Tuesday.
According to the police, the deceased Radhika Malviya was found hanging in the afternoon by the family members. Police were informed and based on the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The deceased committed suicide after informing her husband Narendra that she would slash her wrist if he would not visit and later the family members reached to check her but found that she committed suicide.
Police have not found any suicide note and no reason was found behind the suicide. The reason would be investigated.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
During the investigation police found that the deceased used to live alone after her dispute with her husband.
She returned to her parents but she also faced issues with them and moved of Dr Babita Tiwari’s house who lives in the same locality where she committed suicide.
Meanwhile an 18-year-old committed girl died who fell from building at New Multistorey EWS at Idgah Hills on January 12; she died while undergoing treatment at Hamidia hospital on Wednesday.
According to police, the deceased Prachi died while undergoing treatment.
The deceased was a resident of New Multistorey EWS and fell from terrace on January 12 she was rushed to hospital where she died during treatment.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of CrPC and have started further investigation.
