Panic prevailed at Hamidia hospital parking premises after a 20-year-old girl committed suicide by jumping from fifth floor of parking under Koh-e-Fiza police station area in the evening on Wednesday. According to the police, a girl was rushed to hospital after she jumped from fifth floor of parking after parking her scooter, she died in the night during treatment. Police said that the deceased was identified as Pooja alias Mohita Matele a resident of Mangalwara area and was student of MLB college.
The deceased had both legs fractured and severe head injuries were visible which proved fatal. After the locals spotted the body police were informed and on the receipt a police team reached The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
The father of deceased works as inspector with central GST. During the investigation police found that the deceased left house to visit temple but later committed suicide.
