The Rotary Club in collaboration with Union Bank of India, Gurjar Hospital and Safe India Road Foundation (SIRF) would organise Indian Social Responsibility film festival, a two-day event which is primarily focused on films with social messages. This two-day event will be held on February 6 and 7, at at School of Computer Science and IT, DAVV, Takshshila Campus, Khandwa Road, Indore.
This Festival it’s an attempt to introduce those films to the public which are based on social relevant issues and best films will be awarded, so that the new generation of film makers gets inspired. Because of it being India’s first ‘India Social Responsibility Film Festival’ all those films are being welcomed which have been created by individuals or Corporate entities in last three years.
While expressing his happiness Cl Gurjar Chairman of Rotary Club said, “It is great that now people are taking interest in real life problems and making Media as a tool of awareness. Also its great that through ISRFF we are able to do something extraordinary in the field of media going step ahead of Masala movies.”
He further said that today’s media is being used as a tool by Corporate as well as individuals for building sustainable development of the society at large. However, in a scenario where the media is generally entertainment driven, positive attempts by individuals and Corporate hidden from the public. Because of this, players in the public broadcasting space seem to have diminished and positive role of media, its various issues and solutions are not discussed at all on the public platform, he added.
