A 19-year newly wed woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Mira Nagar under Habibganj police station area in the afternoon on Friday.
According to the police, Shumayla was found hanging at her mother’s house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
In the initial investigation, police found that the deceased committed suicide while her mother had gone for some work.
During the investigation, police have not found any suicide note and it was found that the deceased came to her mother’s house. She got engaged with Rafiq Khan around a year ago and recently married to her.
On Thursday she came to her mother’s house and later committed suicide.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation.
The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Amrai under Baghsewania police station area on Friday.
Police were informed after spotting the deceased identified as Bahwdini Rathi who was found hanging at his house and on the receipt a team reached the spot and started investigation.
After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further
investigation.
The deceased used to work with PHE as water supplier. The deceased went to sleep after dinner and later in the morning he was found hanging. The deceased has three daughters.
