A 19-year-old labour was electrocuted at an under-construction house at l-sector under Ayodhya Nagar police station area on Monday.
Police said that the deceased Kamal Patel was working at the under-construction house when he was electrocuted. The deceased was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment.
In the initial investigation police found that the deceased was working inside the house and was involved in polishing work of marble stone at the time of the incident.
The deceased was working at the house owned by Virendra Tiwari and was electrocuted while working with the polishing machine. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at N-2 B sector under Piplani police station area on Monday.
Vikas Gajbhiye was found hanging with the ceiling and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead. Police said that the deceased was habitual drinker and used to spend his earning on gambling.
In the initial investigation police found that at around 10 pm when the deceased and his family were at home he committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling. His wife after hearing sound of falling of something went to check and found the deceased hanging.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation and a case under section 174 of CrPC was registered.
