A 13-year-old girl was molested by a 22-year-old youth while victim was playing near her home at Berasia in the afternoon on Saturday.
According to the police, the victim was cycling near her house when the accused Jitendra Rajput obstructed her way and took her to a secluded place where he tried to molest her. The victim raised alert after which locals and her father rushed to her rescue. The accused was nabbed and handed over to the police. The police have started investigation and registered case of molestation.
Meanwhile, a 15-year-old girl was molested by 34-year-old man at Qazi Camp under Hanumanganj police station area on Saturday; accused was friend of victim’s father and used to harass her for long, said police.
Police said that the minor victim lives at Qazi Camp with her parents was molested and harassed by Nafees Khan of the same area and frustrated over the constant teasing by the accused, the victim lodged a complaint with the Hanumanganj police.
The victim lives at home along with her step-mother and father. The accused used to visit the home frequently and would tease and molest her which the victim faced for past few months and recently she reported the act to the her mother after which they lodged a complaint with the police.
In her complaint the victim stated that on Saturday when she was at home accused arrived and started to molest her. Based on the complaint police have registered a case of molestation against the accused and started to search for the accused. Police suspect that the accused has crime record and has been booked for molestation which would be investigated.
