The team had rescued ten people on Sunday night. They were admitted to District Hospital. Some people also swam ashore safely. Senior police officials were supervising the rescue work. The search for the survivors is still on. Further details are awaited.

Authorities said they will continue the rescue work until they find all the missing people. "According to sources, there were around 25 people on the boat and the accident is due to the carelessness of the villagers as the boat was in a damaged state. And it was overloaded," said Home Guard Commandant RS Arhulia.
