A 10-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted near Kewda wala Bagh under Talaiya police station area on Sunday. A case was registered after family members came to know about the incident.
Police said the victim was sodomised when he was on his way to home by luring him of money.
After the family members came to know about the incident victim's father and victim lodged a complaint with the Talaiya police and in his complaint victim stated that while on his way to home near Pul Patra the victim was lured of money by accused and took him to a house in Kewda wala Bagh area and sodomised him. After the atrocity accused threatened him of life and warned him not to report the incident to parents or any other person.
Police said the house would be searched where the accused took the victim and sodomised him. The victim is terrified with the incident and is not in a position to provide the details properly and investigation would be done based on his details.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under Section 323, 377 and 506 of the IPC and sections 3 and 4 of the Protection of Children against Sexual Offence Act 2012 and have started further investigation.
In the initial investigation police found that a relative of the victim is behind the act but the victim is not aware of his name and could identify him.
