The Nishatpura police have booked a miscreant on the charge of abetment to commit suicide of a 20-year-old youth who ended his life by hanging with the ceiling at Shanti Nagar on Wednesday.
Police have booked Raja alias Karan Yadav committed suicide at his house and later in investigation it was found that he was harassed for money by the accused Mannu alias Manoj.
SHO Nishatpura police said that the deceased in a video claimed that accused used to harass him and was not providing him. The family members have told facts which were revealed in the video. The accused and deceased were friends and hold criminal record. The deceased was booked for minor offences while accused has been booked for serious offences in the past. Today case of abetment to commit suicide has been registered and search has been started of the accused, he added.
During investigation police found that the deceased had a fight few days ago and annoyed over the fight he committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling. After receiving the information, police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The body was sent for post mortem and it case was registered.During probe, police found that Mannu was involved in abetting Raja to commit suicide. After probe revealed fact police registered a case under section 306 of IPC against accused.
