On the 109th Corps of Signals Day, the cycle expedition ‘MahakaushalMalwa Mercury’is being undertaken by 1 Signals Training Centre located at Jabalpur under the theme “Veterans Our Heritage”.
The cycle expedition team comprising of one Officer, one Junior Commissioned Officer and twelve other ranks of Corps of Signals was flagged off at Jabalpur on Feb 12.The expedition will pass through Narsingpur, Hosangabad, Harda, Mhow, Bhopal, Sagar, Panna, Satna on February 25 covering a total distance of 1200Kms.
The cycle expedition team reached Military College of Telecommunication Engineering (MCTE), Mhow on February 16 after passing through Narsingpur, Hosangabad and Harda. The next day, the team interacted with veterans residing in and around Mhow Station.
Lt Gen Milind M Bhurke, VSM, Commandant MCTE & Colonel Commandant Corps of Signals met and interacted with the cycle expedition team on February 18.
He appreciated and encouraged the expedition’s noble cause of meeting our veterans all over the stretch of 1200 Kms.
