Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that the government is committed to the promotion of government servants. Mishra was presiding over a meeting of the group of ministers constituted at the Ministry on Wednesday to provide promotion opportunities to government servants of Madhya Pradesh during their service period as per eligibility.
The group of ministers unanimously decided that discussions would be held with Ajax, SPAX and other parties before the next meeting. In the meeting, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Forest Minister Vijay Shah and Cooperatives Minister Arvind Bhadauria were present. Minister of State for School Education and Minister of State for General Administration (Independent Charge) Inder Singh Parmar joined online.
In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary General Administration Vinod Kumar informed about the provisions made in Public Service Promotion Rules-2002 and New Promotion Rules-2021.
The Group of Ministers discussed in detail all the legal and constitutional aspects related to the promotion rules. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Home Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary Water Resources S.N. Mishra, Additional Chief Secretary I.C.P. Kesari and other officers including ADG Ashok Kumar Awasthi were present.
